"As 2015 draws to a close, and the fireworks get warmed up to see in 2016, we thought it timely to look back and join the ranks of lists that sum up the year that has gone.
So we've trawled through our social media stats, ranked our posts on the basis of engagement, and come up with a month-by-month snapshot of what caught the world's attention in the world of #FOAMus (Free Open Access Medical-education: UltraSound).
And, recognising the growing diversity and reach of ultrasound at the point-of-care, what a diverse list it is.
Ultrasound has caught the imagination of medical practitioners and the general public alike, which is reflected in the range of topics that has caught our attention; and the means of communication is equally broad - from academic texts, to podcasts and video.
For anyone that follows the #FOAMus #POCUS conversation through the year, the trend is clear - as technology develops and use of ultrasound grows the amount of content and new applications will continue to grow.
Hopefully we can all grow with it.
