St.Emlyn's - By Iain Beardsell - July 7, 2016

"Over the past few years I am very proud to say that as a team at St Emlyn’s we haven’t just focused on the “sexy” parts of emergency medicine, but our blogs and podcasts have also included lots of “core content”.
As we approach a rotation of doctors into Emergency Departments in August, many of whom will not have worked in an ED before I thought it would be useful to put together a post with links to our podcasts and blogposts. Each podcasts is only about 20 minutes long and each blogpost includes further learning. These all give clinicians starting in ED a great headstart so they can hit the ground running when they start work.
The easiest way to access the podcasts is via a smartphone podcast app. Simply click on this link or search for “St Emlyns” and subscribe. All of our podcasts are available there (entirely free) and cover a wide range of topics, not just the induction ones listed below. Please comment on the blogposts and email if there are particular topics you’d like us to cover.
These resources do not replace your own local education programmes or shopfloor tuition, but we hope will help make those first few shifts easier. Good luck and welcome to the best and most fulfilling medical specialty."
